Sometimes when we want to do something good for someone, it doesn’t happen. Here is a story about an elderly man who got into trouble by doing what he thought was something good.
Read Story Aloud:
What law did Mister Do-Good break by taking away the newspapers?
(Theft, by stealing other people’s property.)
What law did Mister Do-Good break by padlocking the school doors?
(Trespassing, and criminal mischief.)
What law did Mister Do-Good break by entering private property and letting the dogs out?
(Trespassing, and malicious mischief.)
Are there some people who pretend to do good things but are really doing bad things?
