Speak with your child about friends and friendship. Ask them about who their friends are. This is an excellent time to tell you child about friendships you had as a child. Talk about friends who are close and friends who live far away.

Have your child ask other people in the family about who their friends are.

Have you child create friendship cards to send to their friends.

Additional Activities

If possible, take a trip it can be as short as around the corner) to visit friends, either your friends or your child's friends.
